You shouldn’t use slang hoping to appeal to younger people because you’ll frequently lose older people. By the time “BFF” became familiar to all age groups, it was a joke more than a valid term because it takes awhile for older people to catch on.
Nobody likes feeling stupid, so explain technical terms you use. Unless you’re trying to identify yourself as an esoteric provider of some niche product or service, language that is specific to your industry will frequently discourage consumers.
